School nurses play a vital role in supporting student health, safety, and academic success every day. This year’s conference theme, “Every Student, Every Day: School Nurses’ Support,” highlights the essential impact school nurses have in meeting the diverse physical, emotional, and mental health needs of students. Conference sessions will focus on current and critical topics affecting school communities, including the connection between the brain and trauma, practical strategies for managing trauma in school settings, advancing health equity for all students, recognizing and responding to common playground injuries, important immunization updates, and identifying and supporting students with eating disorders.
Through education, collaboration, and evidence-based practices, this conference aims to strengthen the knowledge and skills school nurses use to care for every student, every day.
